Privacy Policy

Your voice stays on your machine.

VoxShift is built around local machine learning. Voice recordings, reference clips, and generated voice outputs are processed on the user's device, and a user's voice does not leave their machine through the normal VoxShift workflow.

Effective date: April 9, 2026

1. Overview

This Privacy Policy explains how VoxShift handles information when someone uses the application and this website. VoxShift is intended to provide local voice morphing workflows on Mac devices with an emphasis on privacy and creator control.

2. Voice Data And Audio Files

VoxShift may process microphone recordings, imported audio clips, extracted movie audio, reference voice samples, and generated output files so the app can perform voice conversion. This processing happens locally on the user's Mac.

VoxShift uses local machine learning only. Under normal operation, the user's voice, reference clips, and rendered voice outputs never leave their machine.

3. Temporary Working Files

VoxShift may create temporary local working files while preparing references, extracting dialogue, and rendering output. These files remain on the device until they are cleared by the app, replaced during later processing, removed by the user, or explicitly saved by the user to a chosen location.

4. No Routine Cloud Voice Transfer

VoxShift is designed so that voice recordings and generated outputs are not uploaded to VoxShift-operated cloud services as part of the normal product workflow. If a user separately chooses to export, share, email, back up, or sync files using other software or services, that transfer is controlled by the user and governed by those third parties.

5. Website Information

The VoxShift website may receive standard website request information such as browser type, device information, approximate location derived from IP address, and basic server logs. This website is informational and is separate from the local audio processing performed in the VoxShift app.

6. Contact Information

If a user contacts BoldTec by email, BoldTec may receive the information the user chooses to provide, such as name, email address, and message contents, in order to respond to inquiries about VoxShift.

7. Data Security

Because VoxShift is designed around local processing, users retain significant control over their audio files. Users are responsible for securing their own device, local storage, backups, and any third-party services they choose to use alongside VoxShift.

8. Changes To This Policy

BoldTec may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When this happens, the updated version will be posted on this page with a revised effective date.
